I take online reviews with a grain of salt (especially when there are only a few reviews), but this deserves 5 stars! throws a lot of heat in our living room (I bought the back plate too) and fire needs no tending in addition to adding logs, and there is no smoke. (I had no problems with fumes first though) a product. is better than the grating normal that we have our other fireplace.
